Does a NOC need stamp paper or notarisation?
Not inherently — a NOC is a statement of consent, and plain letterhead or paper with a signature is often enough (GST premises consent, for instance). Some authorities and banks insist on notarisation or a nominal stamp paper; match the requirement of whoever will receive it.
Can a NOC be withdrawn later?
Consent can generally be withdrawn prospectively by written communication, unless it is tied into a contract (a lease clause, for example). If you want certainty either way, state a validity period or state that withdrawal requires written notice.
Is a landlord's NOC mandatory for GST or company registration at rented premises?
